40% of caregivers are at risk of depression - 80% of senior caregivers have chronic illnesses themselves
84.6% have experienced losing someone close; 91.5% of those aged 18-24 yo have experienced bereavement

Only 53% are comfortable discussing end of life matters,
increasing the risk of complicated grief and mental distress
like depression and anxiety

In 2024, we moved important conversations upstream in the pre-palliative care stage through education and engagement, offering end-of-life literacy programs like Last Aid, community events like Death Over Dinner and Death Over Dim Sum amongst others. Read more
