Compassionate conversations

Grief literacy workshops to help organisations and schools embark on a compassionate journey

"We think that the point is to pass the test or to overcome the problem, but the truth is that things don’t really get solved. They come together and they fall apart. Then they come together again and fall apart again. It’s just like that.
The healing comes from letting there be room for all of this to happen: room for grief, for relief, for misery, for joy.”

Compassionate Conversations

A reflective and practical workshop that explores how compassion can transform the way we respond to grief, loss, and major life transitions.

Participants gain a deeper understanding of the many ways grief can manifest and discover how empathy, and deep presence create meaningful connections that extend beyond words.

Through active listening and role-play, participants learn to translate empathy into thoughtful, compassionate action. They develop the confidence, courage, and practical skills to support themselves and others with care and humanity, fostering trust, and resilience in their lives.

Life Café

Life Café is a heartfelt gathering where we gently open the door to life’s most meaningful topics—aging, grief, loss, and preparing for life’s final chapters. In small, supportive groups, we create a safe space to share stories, reflect on what truly matters, and connect with others on a deep, human level. With thoughtful prompts, these intimate conversations invite understanding, foster compassion, and help us find comfort in the shared experiences of life.

Life Review’s workshop is unique and essential for all of us.

Life takes us through losses - whether it’s love, jobs, aspirations, friends, or family. Many, if not all of us have not been trained or educated on how to cope with such loss. Often, this can manifest into something deeper without us realising it. When that happens, it can be too late. We are caught by surprise, and it can drag us into dark places.

Being able to talk openly about this topic, in a safe space even with people we may not know, is incredibly effective. It helps us open up, live with the loss, and often, learn how to accept and let go.
We may not realise the importance of this until we go through the Life Review session. It truly is a must, whether you’ve already gone through loss or not. Because you never know when it may happen to you or those close to you, and you may be the one who can help.”
