Open Endings, Unfinished Stories is a space for honest, authentic conversations about life, loss, and legacy. This session offers a rare opportunity to openly discuss topics related to death, dying, and bereavement - topics many find difficult to talk about elsewhere. Here, you can share your thoughts, reflections, and experiences in a supportive environment with others who see and hear you.
This includes the grief that comes when someone leaves far too soon - a life cut short, with so much unlived and unsaid. It also includes the losses that are harder to explain - the ones others might not fully understand, that don't get acknowledged, or that sit quietly inside you with no clear name. Grief doesn't always arrive with a clear shape or name. You don't have to have it figured out to belong here. You just need to want to give it some form, texture, shape or sound.
Rooted in the global movement around Grief Awareness Day, Open Endings, Unfinished Stories provides an ongoing community for compassion and connection, a place where no loss is too complicated, too sudden, or too soon to be mentioned.
The entry for this “Slice of Life (and death)” event includes pizza and all workshop materials.
