Description:
We are seeking skilled and compassionate facilitators to lead workshops on end-of-life literacy. We require a medical background with an understanding of hospice/palliative care being a significant advantage. Additional experience in training, counselling or social work is a definite standout.

Co-lead workshops covering end-of-life topics like planning ahead, and coming to terms with mortality.
Provide a safe space and supportive environment for participants to share their experiences, reflect and learn from one another.
Utilize effective techniques to encourage open dialogue and constructive discussions among participants.
Demonstrate empathy and understanding towards participants while maintaining professional boundaries and confidentiality
Stay updated on the latest developments and best practices in palliative care and end-of-life support.

Bachelor’s degree in relevant field; Master's preferred.
Medical background; experience in palliative or hospice care will be an advantage
Previous experience in training, facilitation, or counseling is preferred
Familiarity with facilitating group trainings
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Empathetic and compassionate nature, with the ability to listen actively
Flexibility and adaptability to accommodate the evolving needs and dynamics of workshop participants.
Lived experience in bereavement is desirable but optional

All training materials and train-the-trainer sessions will be provided, after which you will need to co-teach at least one full series of workshop to the non-profit sector within the next 6 mths.
Upon confirmation, you will be compensated for each workshop completed.
