Description:
We are seeking skilled and compassionate facilitators to lead workshops on end-of-life literacy. The ideal candidate will have experience in training, counselling or social work, with a background in hospice/palliative care being a significant advantage. 

  • Co-lead workshops covering end-of-life topics like planning ahead, and coming to terms with mortality.

    Provide a safe space and supportive environment for participants to share their experiences, reflect and learn from one another.

    Utilize effective techniques to encourage open dialogue and constructive discussions among participants.

    Demonstrate empathy and understanding towards participants while maintaining professional boundaries and confidentiality

    Stay updated on the latest developments and best practices in palliative care and end-of-life support.

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field; Master's preferred.

    Previous experience in training, facilitation, or counseling, particularly in the context of end-of-life care or palliative care will be an advantage

    Familiarity with facilitating group trainings 

    Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

    Empathetic and compassionate nature, with the ability to listen actively

    Flexibility and adaptability to accommodate the evolving needs and dynamics of workshop participants.

    Experience in palliative or hospice care, as well as lived experience in bereavement is desirable

  • All training materials and train-the-trainer sessions will be provided, after which you will need to co-teach at least 2 workshops to the non-profit sector within the next 6 mths. 

    Upon confirmation, you will be compensated for each workshop completed.

    Availability on 3rd and 4th April (afternoon) for train-the-trainer sessions
